Maggie 2 Months and Snow Day

Here she is at 2 Months! Photo was taken January 11th. We had our 7 week check-up on January the 3rd. She weighed 10 lbs. 10 oz. (56th percentile) and was 21 3/4" (36th percentile). She's getting bigger (and chubbier) by the day! She started smiling somewhere between 5 and 6 weeks and seems to be a really happy baby... despite the constant spitting up.

And Will was able to get outside for a minute to enjoy the snow we have had recently. It's pretty cold though and he lets you know that he doesn't want to be out long.
Here he is making a snow ball... which he says 'Make a ball' - 'make a' is said real fast and 'ball' is said very slowly. It's too funny!
Out in the snow with babysitter, Meryl!

Merry Christmas

Christmas was a 3 week adventure in Jackson this year. Will was sick... twice - flu for a week and a fever virus for a week. Maggie somehow managed to stay well. But we had a lot of fun when everyone was well and Will loved being with all of the family - and learning everyone's names!

We took a night to visit Canton's Christmas light set-up. Will loved all of the lights and his ride around the square on the choo-choo train.
Our annual Still, Berry, Jones Christmas get together was fun... and pictures are still impossible. Like you would have guessed otherwise.

Maggie got in on the action as the lone girl. Poor thing. She is going to be terribly outnumbered with this group... especially since one more boy will be joining our group in February... Baylor Berry!

Will doing the motions to 'If Your Happy and You Know It'...

Talbert and Harper... Will calls her 'Harpie' and the rest of his names for everyone are - Dessie, Kiss, Tabbie, Pop and B. He has also started calling Maggie, 'Maggie-MoMo'. We think he got it from hearing us call her Maggie-Moo and Moo-Moo. Of course, we've all started calling her Maggie-MoMo now! He also refers to himself as 'Vill'.

Will wouldn't stay still for a pic of the 3 of them.

Will received a vacuum from Santa this year. To say it was a 'hit' would be an understatement. He did not open another toy after spotting it and vacuumed for 3 hours straight. If only the thing really worked. Child services might come after me due to Will's work schedule at our house!

Maggie's First Christmas - she slept right through.

Somehow we managed to visit Hazlehurst with NO pics... I am so disappointed! But while there and in the height of his fever virus, Will came out with his first sentence... ' He is bad dog'... I'm sure you don't need me to tell you which dog he was talking about!

First Month...

I'm way behind... I know!

Our first month as a family of four. With lots of help from the grandmothers, it flew by fairly easily - do I dare put that in writing and jinx myself??? Maggie had a check-up at the 2 week mark. She weighed 7 lbs. 7 oz (24th percentile) and was 19 3/4 ". Here she is in her '1 month' shot!Big Brother loves his baby sister! And maybe a little too much... I'm so nervous about the passing of all the germs he picks up at Playschool! He called her Magnie at first... but he's straightened it out to Maggie.
And he's turning into a little bit of Wild Man... I'll let the pictures speak for themselves!
