Our weekend can be divided into three parts:
Pre-Storm
We spent a lovely Friday with Banks and parents. The kiddies got some play time before we went to lunch at Half Shell - Wes, I'm sorry to report, I didn't really like it. If the picture doesn't make it clear as a bell, I had a really hard time getting a picture of the two them. Little men who are on the move don't understand the point of saying 'cheese' for their mommas!
And Banks was desperate to stand up by the chair...
Unfortunately, his wide-legged stance wasn't doing him any favors! Poor thing got really upset as he tried to get himself back down to the ground. The 'herky' position he found himself in looked really painful!
During StormSo never mind that tornado sirens have been going off since 4 in the morning... we have a baby shower to get to! The weather was ridiculous but fortunately only 2-3 of the girls had weather related trouble and couldn't make it. Jessica, not sure if Mom told you or not, but my Dad is obsessed with baby girls in bonnets... that's why Harper Jane had to have one!
The shower was so nice and a lot of fun... it's always fun to meet your families' friends! And Jessica looks great - of course. I'm tempted to call you a bad name here.

Post-Storm
Or maybe this is still during the storm...I was a little frayed after my journey home from Memphis. Basically, if it hadn't been for Jessica's dad, I'd probably still be on I-40 trying to get home... literally! A three hour trip turned into a six hour trip but could have been a 48 hour trip. It was nuts! The flooding has been absolutely incredible - downtown has looked like a marsh for the past several days. Luckily we were completely spared in the ordeal. Our friends Amanda, Clayton and Ann Wilson were not. A flooded basement led to a gas leak, bursted pipes and a power outage. So... we had a spend the night party!
Will really enjoyed having Ann Wilson there for the night. I wish I could get a video to post... but it was sent from Amanda's iPhone so it's some weird file I can't save. Anyway, Will kept feeding AW puffs. She just sat there like a baby bird, mouth open, waiting for the next puff to show up!
And Amanda, don't hate me! I HAD to post this picture. I LOVE her rolls!!!

Bath time with a buddy was lots of fun! Even if she did keep getting into 'his space'... new baby beware! Will knows how to draw a line to show 'his side'!
