9 Months

Well... he couldn't understand why I wanted him to stay still on his back. So the tears started to fall. It's a tough life. This was the only shot I got of him on his back... the rest were in mid-roll. So here it is... the 9 Month shot! The Monkey Man weighs 22 lbs. 12 oz. and is 28 in. long. We're in the 80th percentile for weight and 40th for height. Could that explain the pot belly?

Teeth are still bugging us, crawling is happening at rocket speeds... and the little guy's not walking but he has gotten pretty good at standing!
Here is the 'Olan Mills' again. It's rainy and cold and Will's just going to stay inside in his bear PJ's.
And be just like Daddy! Do a little work on the ole laptop!

Here Comes Santa Claus

Can't believe the elf let me use my own camera while Will sat with Santa. I felt bad and still decided to pay the $38 for 3 5x7's. And they are the worst pictures EVER! Tis the season!

We made the trip to sit on Santa's knee. I'm pretty sure Will whispered that he wanted his mom to have a vacation to a deserted island... but maybe it was about a toy drum. Or possibly his two front teeth... or more like his four front teeth. Poor thing, they are all coming in at once. 3 of the 4 have broken through... #4's holding out.

And.... of course!

Thanksgiving

We spent a wonderful week in Seaside with our family. Our new nephew, Parker, was 6 weeks at the time... and way too cute! We think he looks a lot like Ridge at that age - but a little more like Jeff. Parker with JJ on our deck. Here's Ridge (2yrs)!!! Dancing to whatever tune was playing from his toy.
Ridge and Will riding on Baby Einstein's rocket ship. We were all so tickled over the toy because it kept saying... 'Let's speed it up... Let's show LaRhonda!' What!?!
Will wasn't real sure about the rocket ship... much less LaRhonda.

8 Months (a month late)

Soooo... I'm really bad at this lately.

This is Will's '8th Month Shot'! We refer to this look as his 'Olan Mills'! Yes, he makes this face A LOT! It is a posed, half awkward smile.
He'll hate me for this later, but I love his legs!
At this point in time, he had a horrible cold and some teething issues going on. He was not happy. It probably made it worse that I pulled the camera out on him!

Shot with our friend, Jennifer Shipp, at the Tennessee game!

It's Been A While

Greetings from a sticky little man!
Had a little too much fun with a teething cookie...
This is my turtle face...
This is how I can be found most mornings. In the monkey sack, standing and ready for someone to get me out. My crib was lowered and the picture has been removed from the wall. Not sure why...
This was me as a spider for Halloween.

Pics with Mimi

Headed out to Cheekwood on Saturday to take pics of some friends and their children. Snapped these cute pics of our little snow bunnies! Mimi Darby is too cute! And we were all a little red nosed after this outing!
Will is loving Mimi...
Mimi is not loving Will...

7 Months

Our 7 Month Photo Shoot. Was very quick because Will refuses to stay on his back these days. But we got a good one.And how is it, that even a baby can spot the one thing in the room he should not touch... and go right for it.
Again...
And again...
And then after he had finished racing for the space heater, he decided to look like a perfect angel while he was napping.

Oxford Trip

In the Grove for the first time... and I took NO pictures of Will. I have no explanation for this. What a mental lapse! But we did make it to the pumpkin patch on Sunday! These are the only decent ones we got... he was too focused on the large orange objects around him.

And our new good friend, Charlie, hung out in the patch too!

Game Day

I appliqued a Colonel Reb especially for this important game... I have yet to decide if he will ever wear it again after the disgusting loss to South Carolina...
I acquired my superstitious behavior from my mother.

Needing a quick rest after trying and trying and trying to pull himself up...

Showing off his 'motor boat' skills...

Having fun with the window...

6 Months

A lot of posts... I've been behind.

Shots from our 6 month photo shoots!

Johnny Jump Up

I don't know why, but I NEVER get tired of seeing him jump in this contraption. When he's not inching... he's jumping. In your lap, in the exersaucer and in the Johnny Jump Up.

Inch Worm

If you were wondering... the answer is YES. The little man is about to be off on all fours. I'm waiting to come around the corner into his room only to find him hanging on at the top of our stairs. I should really put up the baby gate and just get used to it as a permanent fixture.

Right now he seems content propping himself on all fours and then hurling his entire body... and then doing a little swimming until he feels the need to find his knees again.

Sometimes he finds a 'push-up' position. Literally on his hands and toes.

And then a shot with Thacker... because he's always there.
