Drool-phobics, BEWARE!
3 hour naps. Why don't they come with some forewarning. Forewarning is not the right word... more like, a white flag, showing his surrender into a long, deep sleep. What I could do after a white flag had flown! Without the white flag, you sit in anticipation, waiting for the cry on the monitor... not letting yourself tackle a large task because YOU KNOW the second you start, he'll wake up. So you take on small tasks - like making your bed, then cleaning your room, then starting some laundry, then unloading the dishwasher. All very important things that result in a clean house... which I know made Wes very happy upon his return home yesterday. BUT - my head drops when I think about what I could have done... paint, sew, workout, anything!And now the little man is up again, so I'll go before his 'talking' becomes 'screaming'. Will... all I'm asking for is a signal. You can choose. Maybe a wiggle of the nose, a clapping sequence. It would make your mother very happy!
