Regardless, it was a lot of fun. This will be my and Will's only trip this year. Really wish it wasn't a four hour drive to one of favorite spots EVER... but it is and that limits a REALLY pregnant person and her 18 month old!

Grove!
Well... the game was horrible... but the Grove with boys was much easier this year than last! We won't even discuss my car key mishap.
Zoo Trip
I'm way behind on posts... so these are going to be short and sweet with a lot of pics!

Will was trying to give Ann Wilson a hug... she wasn't much interested at the moment!

We had our first trip to the zoo. Most of the exhibits/animals were a little too hard to spot for Will. But the petting zoo and the bird habitat were his favorites! He was so excited about the birds he could hardly stand it! The video I have is priceless! Ann Wilson and Amanda joined us. Here are some pics!

I Couldn't Resist
So our first official 'tailgate' for 2010. It's not the Grove but the game is on and food is available. The Kellum's and The McRae's were in attendance... and Will apparently needed to check under Ann Wilson's dress. Who knows! Boys will be boys I guess! And as usual, I'm horrified to hear my voice played back to me... do I really sound that country????
First Word Alert
So at the ripe ole age of 18 months, we have a first word - finally! ICE! Random is right. We talk about other things... mama, daddy, dogs, cats, cup, bye-bye... and he comes out with ICE. He tries very hard and has made recent attempts with PHONE but it's not as consistent as ICE. Documented for the ages - since I've been horrible about keeping up a baby book!
Babies Got Their Blue Jeans On
And yes... we actually did this! A friend, Liz, ordered jean diapers and we planned a photo shoot. It was not the most successful camera time... even with the lure of goldfish... but that's okay. It was fun and a couple of pictures turned out. We just couldn't resist... 'I poo in blue'!

Beach Trip - Take 2
Spent a wonderful week at Seagrove Beach with our best friends - Matt, Kyle and Banks Still and Molly, Garner and Charlie Berry. Chaos reigned supreme for most of the trip... but what else can you expect with 6 adults and 3 toddlers. Germs were passed, ER visits made, and it was H-O-T, HOT. But we're definitely going to do it again next year! Who else has best friends with little boys the same age, who will also be best friends - even if it is a forced situation!
Charlie being really sweet to Will!
All the boys...
And what else do good and wise parents do when their children won't sit still for a photo... they bribe them with cell phones.
Banks Still will consume anything and everything. And yes, that includes sandy ice!
An attempt at a family photo. Not a great shot, but it'll do!
I'm sure we will receive a visit from Child Services over this picture.
And a rare shot of me with Will. And for the other mothers on the trip, I'm including shots of you with your babies as well. Because I'm sure you're like me... always the one taking the photos, never the one in them!

Guys! We had a wonderful time and can't wait for all the future trips together!

Guys! We had a wonderful time and can't wait for all the future trips together!First Day of 'Playschool'
We had our first day of 'playschool' on Aug. 16 - well actually, it was Aug. 19 due to a nasty cold. Will is attending West End Methodist Playschool for Toddlers on Mondays and Thursdays this year. There are 8 toddlers in his class each day and they do very big boy and girl things, like: play in the gym, go to the playground, sit in a chair and eat their lunch, and take naps on cots. Today his report card said he had 'used glue' during art time. Too funny! It is not fun dropping him off in the mornings but I know he's going to love it... once he gets over the separation part!
These pics are from Aug. 19th... and no, this look was not what I saw when I dropped him off or when I picked him up! Smiling was not something he could have dared do in my presence!
Other notes: 'Swiffering' is running a close second to vacuuming these days. Wes is sure he has picked this up from the maid - as he has never seen me do it EVER.
He likes to ask a 'question' - who knows what the question is... as little man has not attempted uttering a word at this point. Questions usually are hand up in the air with his usual uhhh????
And had to throw this one in because it's cute!
