Beachin' It!

Another wonderful vacation to Florida. And with no sign of oil (except the one hundred people on the beach not doing much of anything), it was a fun vacay... for the little man! Wes and I did steal some time solo to the sand but if Will was down there, we were RUNNING (in Forest Gump style). He had absolutely no fear when it came to the waves. Of course, I was worried sick that he was going to swallow some horrible chemical in the water... that lasted about 2 days and then I got over it. If you haven't heard me tell stories of Will literally 'taking a rest' anywhere, be sure to ask me about them. If you have heard or have witnessed it yourself... add THE BEACH to the list!

One night we went to a concert at Seaside and I really don't think Will has ever had so much fun in his life. I'm pretty sure if he could write (or talk), he would be sure to pen 'Ode to a Bubble Blowing Gun'. I would buy him one tomorrow but I'm pretty sure a) he couldn't pull the trigger and b) I would spend countless hours in the heat pulling the trigger.




Thanks Tommy and Janie for coming with us! We had a great time and can't wait to do it again next year!

Harper!

We welcomed Harper Jane Rea into the world on Wednesday, June 30th at 2:33 a.m. She weighed 6 lbs. 11 oz. and was 21 1/4 in. It took a little work to get her here but everyone is doing great. Congratulations to Talbert and Jessica on a beautiful baby girl! Will seems to be taken with her already!
